OOD Detection: Limits of Open-Vocabulary Object Detectors
Up to now, there has only been a limited number of scientific works on how to teach object detection systems to detect unknown objects, so-called…
We are the working group for Applied and Computational Mathematics!
We are passionate about applications of mathematics in a wide variety of fields, from finance to quantum chromodynamics, to epidemiology. We work with methods such as multirate schemes, machine learning, Monte Carlo methods, and geometric integration. We regularly offer teaching on numerical methods and invite students to learn mathematical modeling using everyday examples.
Join us to learn, research and cooperate in those areas!
